PARTICIPANTS

Rodrigo Benítez Marengo (Valparaiso, Chile). Musician and Bachelor of Dance (UARCIS Valparaíso). He was part of the first regional dance graduate in Chile, a project directed by teacher Carmen Beuchat. In 2012 he participates in the Fondart dance project “Languages ​​and movement: training and retribution spaces” with the Danzalparaíso collective, of which he is a member. In July of that year he traveled to the city of Buenos Aires to take classes and teach the Contemporary Dance Research seminar “Body in Situation”. During 2011 and until the beginning of 2013 he was director of the Balmaceda Arte Joven dance company based in Valparaíso. During 2013 he travels and does some residencies and studies in France (CCNN), England (London Contemporary Dance School The Place) and Italy (Compañía Danza Flux), giving the seminar "Body in Situation" in the city of Naples (Italy). He participates in the LOFT dance festival in unconventional spaces in the city of Concepción, he is selected as a resident of the Danza Vertientes festival in the city of Santiago and the international academy Movimiento Sur.

Rocío Rivera Senior Performer in Dance at the Izidor Handler Municipal Conservatory of Viña del Mar, he trained independently in Contemporary Dance with various teachers in Chile and abroad. PUCV Graphic Designer. She is the director of the Mundo Moebio Company and is co-director of Escenalborde, Contemporary Performing Arts and the Danzalborde International Festival. Interpreter of Carmen Beuchat and Company. Her creations have been presented in different cities of Chile, Argentina, Mexico, Bolivia, Uruguay and Spain. She is dedicated to the transmission of Contact Improvisation as an experience of body and spatial awareness in the training of dancers, actors, designers and architects, as well as a tool for creation. Until 2005, she directed the first Stable Dance Cast of Balmaceda 1215 Valparaíso Headquarters. She is general coordinator of Movimiento Sur in its first two editions and currently curator of laboratory content.

Louise Cazy, a French engineer and dancer, arrived in Valparaíso in 2012 and decided to create the Instantes Company with the aim of generating a space for creation and constant reflection on the body and movement. Louise's work is characterized by its freedom of language and formats: from the public space to the stage, from the stage to videodance... In 2009, Louise began a collaboration with the audiovisual production company Microfilms, from which the videodance "Es por your skin” (last audiovisual record on the former prison of Valparaíso) and in 2013 the video dance “Migration”. Since 2014, Louise decides to focus her creative development by establishing bridges and dialogues between the arts: music, dance and cinema.

David Legue She began her formal dance studies at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Chile, continuing her improvement in independent dance in Chile and Argentina. With the Danza en Cruz Company she tours in Chile (2004 to 2008) and Mexico (DIRAC Projects 2006). She participates in the V Festival of Buenos Aires Contemporary Dance with the work in progress of Eugenia Estévez "Algun dia" (2008).
In 2009 he joined "La Compañía" by Mariana Belloto (Argentina) to develop the co-production project with the Now Dance Company (South Korea) and participate in The 3rd Seongnam Dance Festival 2009, The 1sr International Pocket Dance Festival 2009, The 5th Busan International Dance Festival 2009 South Korea, II International Dance Festival, Morelos Tierra de Encuentro 2009, Mexico.
In April 2013 he settled in Valparaíso, teaches Contemporary Dance classes in "Escenalborde" merging: Flying Low, Passing Through, Release, Acrobatics, Yoga.

Guillermo Ribbeck , in 2008 he graduated as a filmmaker in the Film School of the University of Valparaiso. He works as director, cameraman, editor and assistant director. In 2006 he is invited to participate with the short film “Goal de Oro” at the 52nd Oberhausen International Short Film Festival in Germany. With this same film he won a prize at the 18th Viña del Mar Film Festival in 2006. In 2009 he was awarded a fund from the National Council for Culture and the Arts to make his first documentary feature film called “Mocha”, premiered at the Festival. de Cine de Valdivia in 2010 and has participated in national and international festivals, achieving national recognition. He is currently working on an 8-episode television documentary series about the reality of communities living on little-known islands in Chile, called "Inhabitants of the Pacific", financed by the National Television Council (CNTV) and in co-production with Televisión Nacional de Chile. Chile (TVN).

 

Francisco Gómez (Pitu.the.kid ) With music studies at the conservatory of the Catholic University of Valparaíso, painting at the Popular Institute of Fine Arts, acting at the Universidad del Mar, photography direction with Héctor Ríos, he has a degree in communications-filmmaker. In film, he works primarily as a director, cinematographer, and editor, where he constantly links writing, music, and painting.
His first film, the fiction feature film "Days Like Razors" premiered at the art gallery "The Horse Hospital" in London, has participated in a dozen national and international festivals, received the award for best cast at the Film Festival B of Santiago de Chile in 2013.
We are sudamerican beats, a feature documentary filmed in more than 13 countries between Europe, North America and South America, is his second film announced in Chile for June 2014.
He is currently preparing the shooting of his fiction feature film “El amor de los bastardos” and the documentary “Sexo”.
He is the director and producer of Tijera, a production company where he hosts his own projects and those of national talents.

Juan Luis Tamayo Filmmaker from the film school of the University of Valparaíso. His documentary works made during his academic training "May ta la zugun" and "El Vagido" have received a series of distinctions at various national festivals, highlighting the first prize at the Valparaíso International Film Festival, nomination for the Pedro Sienna awards and the Valparaíso Art Critics Circle Award. She has also worked in editing, photography and camera productions of video clips, video dance, historical fiction, documentary reality, stop motion and television series. She made the documentaries " Hombres Verdes " and " Contrapostal " both for the television series nadasimple / todosimple, and later she specialized in Color at EICTV, Cuba, certified by Assimilate Scratch. She is currently directing her first documentary television series “Frente al Muro”.

Fabiola Oyarzún Jerez is a young entrepreneur who has dedicated her life to the area of communications, education and cinema, her work is related to audiovisual production and realization. She does this through training and creating projects with multidisciplinary teams from the Valparaíso region. She has participated in short films, fiction feature films, documentaries and experimental video in various areas of DIRECTION, PRODUCTION, EDITING AND CAMERA. She fulfilling each of her goals and dedicating her life to cinema.

Perpetua Rodríguez She has a degree in Visual Arts with a mention in Painting from the Finis Terrae University, with studies in Restoration and Conservation of Cultural Heritage at the Catholic University. She worked in the Production, Cultural Management and Translation of the International Biennial of Performance DEFORMES 2008-2012. She is a member of the virtual group “Erratic Identities”, under the name of Perpetua Rodríguez, Akademgorodok, Russia. He has participated in the Zonadearte Performance Festival in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in the E.P.I Independent Performance Meeting, Lota, Chile, in the Municipality of Santa Cruz, in the BIENAR meeting, Chile, in the Contemporary Art Museum of Santiago, Chile, He has shown Videoperformance at the Cultural Center of Spain in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and in Miami, United States, at the ASIATOPIA festival, Thailand, he has performed for International Women's Day at the Jockey Club Creative Arts Center, Hong Kong, China , is part of the group of women in the Performance “PERFORMA WOMEN´S PERFORMANCE CALENDAR 2013.
