About Asymmetry:

The Asimtria Festival is a space dedicated to the investigation, development and exploration of Audiovisual and Sound Art, focused on experimental processes proposed from various technologies, narratives and media, and oriented to the philosophy of Free Culture.

Our interest has been focused from the beginning on the construction of safe and horizontal spaces for exchange and collective learning through the development of expressions that occur outside the traditional sphere, which find great potential in experimentation, an area where people in constant search for new tools, media, modes and languages, open to combining and adding various disciplines and expressions, from a collective and collaborative thinking. Since 2006, the festival has been a reference space for the dissemination of proposals in video creation and sound from experimentation in southern Peru, bringing together more than 350 creators from Latin America, Europe and Oceania to date.
